Spotlight: Fatherhood & Leadership
Fathers change futures. Mentors multiply it. Being a present father and engaged mentor creates ripples of positive change that extend far beyond one family.
"I learned how to be present, then I taught other men how to be present too."
James "Jim" Chambers
Jim's story of fatherhood and mentorship continues to shape Level Up's community today. Through his work with Weld Seattle and his dedication to helping other fathers rebuild relationships with their children, Jim demonstrates the transformative power of accountability, vulnerability, and consistent showing up.
Our fatherhood circles provide space for men to share struggles, celebrate wins, and learn practical strategies for being the dads their children deserve. We help men navigate custody arrangements, child support systems, and the emotional complexity of reconnecting after absence.

We make case-by-case decisions based on readiness, commitment, and capacity. If you are ready to grow, we encourage you to apply. Our standards exist to protect the community and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
